Shipping policy

You are welcome to get in touch with us to place an order for any item which is not in stock. We can research and order most print music titles , and have them here within 2-8 weeks from our supplier. Orders for instruments and accessories can be often be ordered overnight from local suppliers if in stock, and if the order is placed early in the day.

Courier and/or Postage: 

Our couriers call in for pick-ups around 3pm Monday to Friday. There are no weekend pick-ups. We use NZ Post Economy Courier, which can take 2-3 days, and Aramex for overnight. Both options are trackable, and this number will be sent to you when the order is fulfilled.

Please email or phone us by 2pm if you need your order to be sent the same day. If you specifically need your order the next day, please note this when ordering, as our default shipping method, especially for books, is with NZ Post Economy.

We also post by snail-mail if requested. You'll need to call or email us for this option. We cannot track items sent this way.

Please supply a physical delivery address, not a P O Box number. NZ Post Economy do seem to get delivered to Post Boxes, but this is not guaranteed.

 Aramex Couriers deliver to most urban areas within New Zealand overnight.

Rural delivery time frames are usually an additional 2-3 business days.

Shipping large items:

Items over 25kgs are not able to be sent by courier. They are considered freight and require a different shipping option.  Please contact us prior to  purchasing if you need to discuss these shipping options. For some large items like digital pianos, these are often send directly from our suppliers.

Acoustic pianos purchased from us are delivered free by us, within Taranaki to a flat easy entrance. Deliveries with stairs or tricky corners will be quoted on, as we sometimes need to employ extra help.

Acoustic pianos purchased from us, going to an address outside of Taranaki are quoted on case by case basis, depending on a number of factors. We contribute a certain amount to the delivery and the customer pays the difference. We will discuss options with you at the time of purchase.
